"We went in seeking new helmets and communication device and had not idea what to get. We were shown 2 GREAT helmets and then asked about communication device and we were shown a very expensive device that would be great. We bought all 3 at a cost of about $1,600.00. When everything arrived they installed communication and prior to leaving I complained about GREAT pressure pain in one ear, "it should break in", was what I was told so we left. A week later with a solid red ear and tremendous pain I went back. First question was from clerk was "what do you want me to do". I said fix it, I got a blank stare, further questioning and further blank stares we were told that our communication device was not designed for our helmets. I asked why we were not not that at the time of purchase so we could have bought one that would match, again blank stare. I asked what we could do and was told I could call the helmet manufacturer and ask them, now I gave them the blank stare. Next suggestion was that I could try using an exacto knife and cut the ear hole out bigger. I said but would that not void any warranty, again with the blank stare. We got everything resolved finally but what a hassle over something that had a clerk known both products he was selling and not just gone with the most expensive item, this would have not been an issue, poor knowledge and VERY poor customer service."
